As part of the Kellogg-funded Farm to Early Care and Education project in North Carolina, North Carolina State University developed this guide and decisions tree to support and advance local food purchasing in ECE sites. This NC Cooperative Extension publication will be useful for child care centers and technical assistance providers who are trying to figure out the best way to purchase local food for meals and snacks for their centers.
