Farm to Head Start Harvest of the Month
The Farm to Head Start Harvest of the Month curriculum, developed by students of Lycoming College Teacher Certification Program in partnership with STEP Head Start of Pennsylvania, offers 12 months worth of creative and engaging activities aimed at introducing children to fruits and vegetables through sensory exploration while learning about the health benefits of fresh produce. Activities and lesson plans include Head Start, Early Head Start, and home based resources and align with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
