Oregon Partners

Oregon is home to many successful local and statewide farm to school initiatives. The state is fortunate to have a strong team working to further the farm to school mission including the Oregon Department of Education, Oregon Farm to School and School Garden Network, and the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Oregon’s Farm to School and School Garden Network actively supports farm to school initiatives and policy action, and includes state agencies, food service staff, farmers, teachers, parents, school gardeners and community-based organizations. Since 2011 the Oregon State Legislature has allocated nearly $30.6 million to farm to school and school gardens.
