The 10th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference is the premier event for anyone passionate about bringing local food to institutional settings and driving positive change in the food system. Whether you’re a food service professional, farmer, educator, policymaker, entrepreneur, or student, this conference offers invaluable opportunities to network, learn, and share knowledge with others who are shaping the future of food access and sustainability.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for conference workshops and posters has now closed. If you submitted an RFP and are no longer able to attend, please let us know by emailing passion@farmtoschool.org.

Important Date Change

To ensure the 10th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference is as impactful and relevant to emerging needs, we have made the strategic decision to postpone the conference to December 2-5, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM.

This important date change allows us to enhance the conference experience, ensuring it is more impactful, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of those working to nourish kids, families, and communities. The conference will focus on building bright futures for communities, uplifting innovative solutions, and fostering meaningful connections.

Why the change?

• Responding to the Current Landscape: We recognize that many of our partners and colleagues are navigating stretched capacities and uncertainty due to ongoing changes at the federal level.   
• Rallying the movement for collective impact: We are responding to the current need for action. By bringing together leaders across the farm to institution movement, we are strengthening programming, amplifying more voices, and creating a space for cross-sector collaboration to drive lasting impact. 
• Enhancing Accessibility: By moving to December 2-5, we can offer more flexibility for attendees, including producers who may have had scheduling conflicts during the busy planting and harvest season.

What's new?

• Stronger Programming: With additional time to plan, we’re curating an exceptional lineup of speakers, workshops, and sessions that address the most pressing issues and opportunities facing our movement.   
• Amplified Impact: The extra time will allow us to deepen our collaborations with partners, sponsors, and community leaders, ensuring that the conference has a lasting impact on the farm to cafeteria movement and beyond.   
• Enhanced Networking: We'll have more time to cultivate meaningful connections and foster a stronger sense of community among attendees.

Scholarships

A limited number of registration and travel scholarships will be available with additional consideration given to applications in New Mexico and surrounding states including Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. Scholarship applications will open in April, 2025.
